spiritualinspiration:

Perseverance means that you are focused, that you are believing what God says about your situation. It’s looking away from distractions and any negative, defeating thoughts. Perseverance looks away from discouragement and looks to the Word of God. Perseverance has a voice, and it says things like, “No weapon formed against me shall prosper! If God is for me, who can be against me! I am more than a conqueror through Jesus!”

Whatever you are believing for today, keep believing! Stand strong and fight the good fight of faith. Ask God to give you endurance, perseverance and patience so that you can see His promises fulfilled in every area of your life!

    spiritualinspiration:

“He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and mire. He set my feet on the solid ground and steadied me as I walked along” (Psalm 40:2, NLT) Do you feel like you are in a pit today? That pit can be frustration or disappointment or a feeling of discouragement, despair, or hopelessness. And maybe you can’t see a way out, but you’ve got to know that God is still with you, and He will make a way where there seems to be no way.
Remember, God will never waste anything you go through in life. If you’ll keep the right attitude, He’ll turn that situation around for your good. It doesn’t matter how you got there, whether it was by your own poor choices or maybe someone else treated you unfairly, God wants to use that situation to do a work in you. He’ll take that evil and turn it around for your good. You may be uncomfortable at times, but you’ve got to know you are growing, and God is building your character.
Today, make the decision to shake off any negative, self-defeating mindsets. Choose to cooperate with God. Trust that He is preparing you for promotion. As you keep an attitude of faith, expectancy, and thanksgiving, He will lift you up and set you on the solid path of victory He has in store for you!

    Christ Centered Relationships!

    CHRIST centered relationships

God wants the best for us in every area of our lives. This includes relationships with boyfriends or girlfriends.

The Bible has some very clear principles to guide us in making decisions about dating.

    Guard your heart.
The Bible tells us to be very careful about giving our affections because our heart influences everything else in our life.

“Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.”(Proverbs 4:23

You are known by the company you keep.
We also tend to become like the company we keep. This principle is closely related to the first one and is just as important in friendships as in dating.

“Do not be misled: Bad company corrupts good character.” (1 Corinthians 15:33

Christians should only date other Christians.
Although it is fine for Christians to have non-Christians friends, those who are especially close to our heart should be mature believers who are seeking to follow Christ with their lives.

“Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?” (2 Corinthians 6:14

    Is it really love?
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 defines real love. Ask yourself these questions:
    • Are you patient with each other?
    • Are you kind to each other?
    • Are you never envious of each other?
    • Do you never boast to or about each other?
    • Is your relationship characterized by humility?
    • Are you never rude to each other?
    • Are you not easily angered with each other?
    • Do you keep no record of wrongs?
    • Are you truthful with each other?
    • Do you protect each other?
    • Do you trust each other?
If you answered “yes” to the above questions, then 1 Corinthians 13says that you truly have a loving relationship. If you answered “no” to any of the above questions, then maybe you should discuss those issues with your boyfriend or girlfriend.

    Friendships
You need to help your friend stop something if they are doing something wrong that you know of.

Here are some things to help you:

Understand the truth about your friend.
You need to know why your friend needs help or what specifically is wrong with them. Proverbs 17:17 says “A friend loves you all the time, and a brother helps in time of trouble.”

Understand the truth about your reputation.
Is hanging around this friend bringing down your reputation? Does people think that you are doing the same thing your friend is doing?

Find a true friend that can keep you accountable

    spiritualinspiration:

Isn’t it good to know that God is working behind the scenes in your life, today? No matter what you may be facing, no matter what trial you may be going through, God has a plan to turn things around in your favor. You are called according to His purpose; so right now, He is working out a plan for your good. Right now, He is orchestrating the right people to come across your path. He is orchestrating the right opportunities to open up to you. You may not see it in the natural, but look with your eyes of faith today. Show your love for the Father by your obedience to His Word. Come before Him with an open and humble heart trusting that He is guiding you. Keep standing. Keep believing. Keep hoping. Keep declaring His Word and meditate on His goodness, knowing that He rewards the people who seek after Him.
